I was rummaging around looking for some dried fruit(one of my favs!) but I couldn’t find any! I was uber disappointed! all we had was fresh fruit and there in the corner of my eye was our dehydrator! then the idea hit me…Why don’t I just make my own dried fruit?? shabambalamb!! teehee! so then I got started! The Apples were amazing! but the Banana slices were a flop -_-….. I’m still busy munching on the Apple slices; they literally BURST with flavour, I love em! I don’t think I can go back to buying dried apple slices, because mine taste so darn good! 😀 LOL

  • Lemon Juice Squeezer
  • Fruit and Veggie Slicer*optional, or just use a knife

  • 3 or more Bananas

  3. Slice up your apples using a Fruit and Veggie Slicer or a Knife
  4. Cut up your bananas
  5. Place your apple slices into the big bowl
  6. Half the Lemon and use the lemon squeezer to extract the juice or squeeze the lemon yourself
  7. Pour that juice over your apples and mix together
  8. Place your apple slices evenly spaced out; onto your dehydrator mat/mats
  9. Rinse the big bowl and then place your banana slices
  10. Squeeze the Juice out of the other half of the lemon
  11. Pour that juice over your banana slices and mix
  12. Place your banana slices evenly spaced out; onto your dehydrator mat/mats
  13. Set your dehydrator at 105’c
  14. Leave your fruit in the dehydrator over night or for about 6-8 hours, depending on how you like your dried fruit 😉

When they are finished store the dried fruit in an air tight container and Munch on a few too 😉 they are soo yumballz!
