Spicy Roasted Chick-pea Snack

So i said i’d soon be recreating the scrumptious snacks i took to my Community service, well here is one of the snacks i made, and if i do say so myself my friends loved them! not to be conceited or anything, it’s just what they told me 😀

Ingredients:

1 Can chick-peas Drained

2 tbsp Paprika

2 tbsp Masala

1 tsp salt

2 tsp Ground pepper

1 tsp Ground ginger

1 clove Garlic

1 tsp-2 tsp Olive oil*-optional, i didn’t use any this time, but they don’t come out as crispy if you don’t use some

Method:

Pre0heat the oven to 180-200’C

place the Chick-peas in a jar(or bowl, but i recommend a jar that has a lid)

add all the spices to the jar and shake it all together! ……shake ya bootay shake ya bootay Come ooon! show me how you do it yeeaaah!

Crush the garlic and then mince it-or chop finely then add it to the jar

Give it another shake and allow the spices to soak in as you line a baking tray with parchment paper.

add in the olive oil right before baking*

spread the chick-peas evenly on the baking tray and then place in the oven

Let the Chick-Peas bake for 30-45* mins until golden and crisp

Check Every 10mins(ish) to make sure they don’t burn

*-30-45 mins Depending on your oven
